Welcome. I am an extragalactic astronomer with broad interests ranging
from the Milky Way's neighboring galaxies, to the cosmic web of gas stretching
across the unlit depths of space, to distant quasars shining brightly at the edge
of the observable universe. I live with my wife
Amy,
our daughter
Emma,
our son
Neill,
and our German Shepherd
Kaia,
in Tucson, Arizona, where I work as a postdoctoral research associate at
Steward Observatory
(University of Arizona).
